We took the the fright of Austrian Airlines, OS 307, from Vienna Airport (VIE) to Copenhagen Airport (CPH). It was about 22:15 pm when we arrived and passed the custom/immigration hall. Then we were going to find a good place to sleep at CPH for one night and take the freight to Iceland at 8:35 am next morning (20th/Jan) by SAS  Airlines.

Referring to car rental in Iceland, we can sum up the most popular ones after searching by google as below:
1. Guide to Iceland: It synthesize lots information for car rental companies on the website.
2. Blue Car Rental: Although it gets both praise and blame, many travelers still choose it.
3. Reykjavik rent a car: Comparing with other car rental companies, the rent/price may be slightly higher. But insurance is complete from our point of view.

It is our first time to drive abroad. Concerning on the weather and road conditions of the Iceland, we decided to choose the company of "Reykjavik rent a car". Of course, you can make your choice based on your experience and budget as well.

If you would like to travel to Iceland airport, Kevlarvik International Airport 
(Keflavíkurflugvöllur, KEF), from the capital, Reykjavík, you can choose either by a rental car or by bus. As to the rental experience, you can refer to the article, 【Iceland】 car rental precautions_Reykjavik rent a car,  in our blog further.
It is our actual experience. (It is a nice try and we quite recommend for it!)

To reach the airport of KEF from your hotel, of course, you can drive to and stop the rental car at the specified parking lot. But some bloggers have shared bad experiences for this way resulting from the extra expenses in the credit card bills afterwards for unknown reasons.

Besides, our fright is so earlier that we choose to return the car back two days ago before leaving and make a reservation for the airport bus, that is, Flybus.

(The Flybus has been run by Reykjavik Excursions.)
